Use Sprongo’s ARROWS tool to illustrate strategic moves or plays — including productive alternatives — during a competitive event. The tool is especially useful to help team athletes zero in on pivotal successes or lapses in offense or defense.

Use Sprongo’s DRAWING and COMMENTING tool to mark and annotate any instance in a video where an athlete exhibits optimal or suboptimal form. Comments also appear in a timeline next to the video and can be clicked to take viewers directly to the relevant timestamp.

  1. Select the video you would like to add a drawing and/or comment to.
  2. Drag the slide to the point of the video you would like to add a drawing or comment.
  3. Click on the pencil icon in the functions section.

  5. Add a comment to explain your drawing .

Sprongo’s Frame Control lets you playback videos at 5 different speeds (6x, 2x, 1x, .5x and .25x) as well as view them frame by frame.

Click the video’s VS icon to compare two athletes’ video performances side by side. Or use Overlay mode to superimpose videos one over the other. It’s the ideal way to compare athletes’ performances at milestone moments, such as when passing specific gates in the downhill or jumping barriers in the 100-meter hurdles.

To help you get the most out of your video analysis, below are step-by step instructions for some of Sprongo’s features.
